Gallows lead singer Frank Carter has been named the Coolest person in rock'n'roll in this year's NME Cool List.
Gallows have experienced a meteoric rise during 2007, thanks to Carter's wild onstage antics and outspoken lyrics.
Jamie Reynolds of Klaxons, Lovefoxx, and The Cribs frontman Ryan Jarman complete the top four.
Rapper Lethal Bizzle is a new entry straight into number five, followed by Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys (six), Kate Nash (seven) and Amy Winehouse (eight).
Last year's number one, Beth Ditto, falls to number nine, while The Rolling Stones's Keith Richards falls from 26 to ten.
Meanwhile, artists in the Had It, Lost It list include Richard Archer, Sugababes, Donny Tourette, The Libertines and Kanye West.
