Solange Knowles, a hugely talented singer/songwriter and producer will follow her critically acclaimed sophomore album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams with a UK tour commencing 4 November 2008.
Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams, released in August 2008 is a rich fusion of Motown Soul and delicious pop, topped off with Solang’es refreshingly candid lyrics.
The album boasts the input of hit producers Mark Ronson, Pharell Williams and Cee-Lo of Gnarles Barkley fame. Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams, continues to reign in the Top 10 on The Billboard 200 whilst first single I Decided came in to the top 30 of the UK Singles chart.
Texan born Solange is no stranger to the music industry having written songs for the individual solo projects of Beyoncé, Kelle Rowland and MichelleWilliams of Destiny’s Child, and honed her singing, choreography , acting and producing skills form a tender age .
Now just 22 years old, Solange brings her charming, Motown-inspired sound to five regions across the UK.
