Usher's wife shocked at divorce

USHER's wife was reportedly left surprised when the singer filed for divorce.

Tameka Foster told friend that they were blissfully happy just days before he filed seperation papers.

The Yeah! hitmaker, 30, filed for divorce in his native Atlanta, Georgia last month, and revealed that he had been living apart from his wife since July last year.

The documents stated there was "no reasonable hope of reconciliation".

But in new papers filed by Foster on Monday (29Jun09), the stylist's attorney claims she had "every reason to believe her marriage was intact".

According to E! Online, the documents allege the pair was "intimately together" less than a week before Usher started divorce proceedings.

Foster wants all of her legal fees in relation to the divorce covered, as well as financial support towards the couple's two children Usher Raymond V, 19 months, and Naviyd, six months.

Usher is seeking joint custody of his two sons.
