Lostprophets singer remanded until March

Ian Watkins of Lostprophets will stay in police custody until March over alleged child sex offences.

Watkins has been charged with conspiring to engage in sexual activity with children including a one-year old girl and has been charged with offences to two children, four offences of making and possessing indecent images of children and accessing ‘extreme pornography’ relating to animals.

35-year old Watkins and two women aged 20 and 24 where charged. The woman cannot be named.

Watkins was refused bail. His next court hearing is scheduled for March 11 at the Cardiff Crown Court.
