Greg Coulson is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and performer. An accomplished Pianist and Hammond player he is also a guitarist and singer/songwriter specialising in Rhythm & Blues. 2010 saw the break Greg had been looking for, at the age of 19 he joined the legendary two-tone band The Selecter. Known as a Hammond player, and not just a keyboard player, Greg toured with The Selecter and made over 400 appearances worldwide. Gigs include: Coachella, Riot Fest, Ink and Iron (USA), Isle of Wight Festival (UK) in addition to touring Europe, Scandinavia, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
After leaving The Selecter back in March 2015, Greg landed a leading role in the West End production of, “Close to You: Bacharach Reimagined” at the Criterion Theatre, Piccadilly Circus. An amazing opportunity, that lead to playing and performing with Burt Bacharach himself for Tv appearances (national) and the opening night at the Criterion.
Since 2016, Greg’s heart has been true to Rhythm & Blues and his own songwriting. He has managed to tour the UK and Europe with his own band, taking his own brand of high octane, fun and musically ingenious Blues to loyal audiences throughout the UK – Greg’s main aim to make Blues accessible for the next generation of music lovers. over the past two years the greg coulson band have made appearances at festivals such as, HRH blues, Scarborough Top secret blues festival, The Great british Rock and Blues festival, the north wales blues and soul festival and many more
