Kim Kardashian has insisted her clapback to Tyson Beckford wasn't homophobic.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star seemingly insinuated that the model and actor is gay during a social media feud between the pair last week (begs30Jul18), which began after Tyson criticised her appearance on Instagram.

Her comments quickly garnered widespread criticism from fans accusing her of being homophobic - claims the reality star and make-up mogul vehemently denied in an interview with American radio show Real 92.3 on Thursday (09Aug18).

"Really dude, like you're gonna body shame me? Like OK. OK, OK, sis," the KKW Beauty founder said of Tyson's comments.

"With this, people were sending me stuff on his page and he keeps on going and going and going, I'm just like, 'Dude, that's so female lame to me. That's just lame to me'," she continued. "And for anyone to say that I am homophobic for the comment of saying 'sis' like, I'm sorry, I'm the least... all my best friends are gay, I support the community, I love the community, they love me. That has nothing to do with this."

The feud began last week when 47-year-old Tyson commented on an Instagram post uploaded by The Shade Room of the mother-of-three in a skimpy outfit.

"Sorry I don't care for it," he wrote, adding: "She is not real, doctor f**ked up on her right hip" alongside a vomiting emoji.

Spotting Tyson's remark, the starlet shot back with a sharp-tongued response, writing: "Sis, we all know why you don't care for it", adding a nail polish emoji.

The Ralph Lauren Polo model responded by reiterating his stance on plastic surgery and attempted to put an end to the feud, writing: "My opinion on women who do plastic surgery stays the same, not for me! I personally don't care for it! Done end of story (sic)!"

His comments were met with radio silence from Kim.
