Jon Bon Jovi has attacked Kim Kardashian, insisting the reality TV star only became famous for starring in a 2007 sex tape.
The explicit video, featuring Kim and her ex-boyfriend Ray J, was leaked the same year the Kardashians landed their TV series on U.S. network E!
Kim has since become a successful businesswoman, wife and mother of three, but rocker Bon Jovi can't get past the fact she's just a sex tape star who got lucky.
"I think it's horrific that we live in that world and I can tell you I've never given 60 seconds of my life, ever, to one of those Housewives of Blah Blah and Kardashians," he ranted to host Lisa Wilkinson on The Sunday Project. "I don't know their names, I've never watched 60 seconds of the show, it's not for me."
The 56-year-old rocker, who has sold over 130 million albums worldwide, added, "What's gonna be in your autobiography? 'I made a porno and guess what, I got famous?' F**k, sorry, I'll pass. Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing..."
The Bon Jovi frontman also addressed his rift with former sidekick Richie Sambora, who left the group in 2013, telling Wilkinson the guitarist's problems got the better of him.
"The truth is he didn’t come to a show, and then he never came to see us in five years," he explained. "There was no falling out. His habits got into the way of him coming to work. And he just didn’t show up."
The former songwriting partners staged a get together earlier this year (18), when Bon Jovi were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but both have since made it clear that a proper reunion is unlikely.
