Ariana Grande fans are furious that the singer is only offering partial refunds for a string of cancelled meet and greets.
On Tuesday, it was announced the star had axed all meet and greets on the European leg of her Sweetener World Tour, after adding several more dates, in a bid to "preserve her voice and energy". And while the 7 Rings hitmaker's devotees were initially sympathetic, they quickly became disgruntled when the pop star only offered partial refunds for the VIP tickets.
Ryan Harte, a 19-year-old super fan, paid $1,455 (£1,200) for tickets for him and a friend to see Ariana in London, but was told via email he would only be receiving $457 (£377) of it back.
Speaking to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, his father raged: "He actually used his university grant money to pay for the tickets and he does work part-time but $1,090 (£900) is a lot of money. Ariana is his passion.
"He paid £900 to stand in the pit with people who have paid $194 (£160) for a standard ticket. She's ripped people off and he is absolutely gutted."
Other fans took to social media to slam the Thank U, Next hitmaker, accusing the star of being "flakey" and "disappointing fans".
"If you were going to book so many dates, know your limits instead of disappointing fans," one user posted, while another added, "She has pocketed the extra cash and not offered a full refund."
Ariana will play dates in Europe through 16 October, before heading back across the Atlantic to complete a final U.S. leg, wrapping up on 22 December.
