Goldheart Assembly have announced details of the release of a new single, Last Decade. Taken from their acclaimed debut album, Wolves & Thieves, the single will be available through Fierce Panda on November 29th 2010.
Released in April of this year, their debut album was recorded at in a makeshift studio amongst the old steam engines at the Forncett Industrial Steam Museum in Norfolk and finished and mixed with Laurie Latham (Echo & The Bunnymen, Squeeze, Ian Dury & The Blockheads) at Helicon Mountain studios in Greenwich.
The last few months have seen Goldheart Assembly play rapturously received festival sets at Glastonbury, Reading and beyond and get some enviable Radio 2 and 6Music support for their previous singles King Of Rome and Under The Waterway.
Having previously played sold-out London shows at both the ICA and Kings College they have recently announced a headline show at London’s Bush Hall and support slots on both the forthcoming We Are Scientists and Band of Horses - Ben Bridwell from the band personally invited Goldheart on the tour after saying the Last Decade was one of the most beautiful songs he’d ever heard - UK tours.
