Guns N Roses line-up not quite original

The reformation of the “original” and/or “classic” Guns N Roses line-up may not be quite what it seems.

When the news of the Guns N Roses reunion broke yesterday with word that the band would headline Coachella, the one thing missing from the news of who was in the line-up.

We know that Guns N Roses 2016 will feature Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagen. Melodicrock.com reports that the rest of the band will be Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Dizzy Reed and not Matt Sorum, Steve Adler and Izzy Stradlin.

Adler and Stradlin played on the first GNR album ‘Appetite For Destruction’ in 1986. Dizzy Reed and Matt Sorum surfaced for the ‘Use Your Illusion’ albums in 1991.

Guns N Roses will play first at Coachella in April 2016. More festivals and a 25-date North American tour will follow with that announcement expected soon.
