Sinead O’Connor has been absent from Facebook for almost a month after claiming that she was being spied on.
That ended on Monday afternoon at about 4 PM EDT when she made what appears to be an outlandish comment on the death of Prince.
Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades…. Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince’s and Eddie Murphy’s bitch) Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio I’ve reported you to the Carver County Sherrif’s office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy’s house. You best get tidying your man cave.
The response from people on Facebook was swift and unrelenting, accusing her of just about everything under the sun and predicting a coming libel suit from those being named in the post.
Of course, O’Connor’s biggest and best known song was written by Prince, Nothing Compares 2 U, reaching number 1 in a majority of countries around the world.
That fact was the point of one of those on her page who said:
I was wondering how long before you’d give us all your two miserable cents on this. If it wasn’t for Prince you’d be nothing you INGRATE. But you’re living proof all the money in the world, & fame on the back of Prince doesn’t make a person happy with such a SICK mind
It has been quite awhile since we’ve heard any controversial talk from O’Connor but, it’s our guess, that this may be the start of a new round.

A spokesman for Arsenio Hall has said that Sinead’s claims are “absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd”.
