Last Wednesday, Will.I.Am took over the Royal Albert Hall to organise a free dance party for up to 10.000 lucky winners. After interviewing the jack-of-all-trades artist on the red carpet, we were invited to join the fun inside the mythic concert hall.

Will.I.Am is active in music, film and fashion. In December 2012, the singer created in own tech company called iam+. After releasing a few wearable tech items that received mixed reception from the general public, he decided to launch ANeedA.
Defined as a wearable artificial intelligence device, the ANeedA looks like a watch. The party was a big launching event where the guests had the opportunity to see and hear what the A.I. could do.

Will.I.Am started off by performing some of his latest hits, in collaboration with other artists.
Will.I.Am had many guests joining him on stage: Pia Mia, Wstrn, Tinie Tempah, Eva Simons and Rikky Wilson. He also shared the stage with Lydia Lucy, the finalist of The Voice, and his protégée.

He then disappeared from the stage to appear in the audience. He started mixing and got the whole of Albert Hall dancing to tubes like Wonderwall by Oasis, Sweet Dreams by Eurhythmics, We Found Love by Rihanna, etc.
Interacting with ANeedA, the singer managed to organise a surprise Black Eyed peas reunion (minus Fergie). The audience went completely manic and danced their hearts out to the biggest tunes of the band!
The concert finished, after two completely insane hours, with Scream & Shout, sending the crowd home in an ecstatic state.

What we found out about ANeedA is that it learns and develops its knowledge but, also, that it is a very sassy lady….as she told Will to play It’s My Birthday for her, that he was burning more calories and making more steps when he was on stage with the Black Eyed Peas and she even took Britney Spears’ lines in Scream & Shout, singing “It’s ANeedA, bitch”.

The whole party was stunning and well organised: the music was insane, the guest lists never ending and the sets impressive. It is quite obvious that anyone who attended had his or her share of fun. Hopefully, the fun can continue with ANeedA, which seems to be the perfect wearable device to play, stream and enjoy music.
