SW4 was back with a vengeance in 2017 over the August Bank Holiday in London. Set in the traditional grounds of Clapham Common south of the river, this music dance festival proves to be a winner and continues to pull in hungry summer clubbers near and far. And with a strong line-up over the two days, it didn’t disappoint. This event would appeal to all dance and electronic music fan.

Fresh from the previous days aftermath, Sunday’s menu included a collective group of renowned DJ’s and acts from around the world. Gracing the main outdoor stage included the likes of Deadmau5, Knife Party and Sub Focus. Elsewhere, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed and Erick Morillo were spinning the decks.

The Indoor Main Stage was hosted by Amnesia Ibiza with DJs Marco Carola and Sven Vath to name but a few. Packed to the rafters and with stage dancers accompanying the sets, the main tent had that feeling that “Ibiza” had just come to town.

Certainly SW4 Sunday was brimming with atmosphere and accompanied by great weather and sun. Although not as busy as the previous day, it didn’t lack any less excitement. The music continued to delight the SW4 clubbers all the more.

The Main Stage was the HUB and the place to flock. Arms in the air and big electronic beats, fans were greeted with some first-class music sets. As the day progressed into the evening, with the clubbers eagerly awaiting the arrival of Deadmau5 for the last set, there was a distinct weight of expectation. Sporting the iconic “ears”, Deadmau5 produced another spectacular show of house music and accompanied with breathtaking laser lights and images.

Overall, SW4 continues to be a magnet for clubbing fans each year and an event which should be firmly in the calendar for all those looking for a day out in festival-style with dance music from world-class international DJ’s and artists.
