Sam Isaac and his band is music you must check out. Isaac arrives on stage with his band of millions, they loaded the stage with musicians and sound. Brilliant melodies with story style lyrics this was a real treat of a gig. The atmosphere was happy excitement as the band looked as pleased to play for the crowd as we were to listen and experience. The show reminded everyone why music is so so good. This band will be amazing to see at a festival with their hand clapping harmonies and general good cheer. An unearthed gem.

David Berkeley was a wonderfully witty and warm entertainer. He dedicated most of his songs to his friends with funny tales interspersing the lovely songs. He sings about making love in hurricanes and putting the wine back in the glass. He ended the gig by sitting on the stage, playing his guitar singing without microphone. His performance suited the small venue and I would advise all to see him in a gig soon before he hits the bigger stages. Don’t write him off as another Damien Rice before you’ve had a proper listen.

BC Camplight are a 5 piece with piano. Lead singer and pianist Brian Christinzio supped from a bottle of Jack Daniels as the band supported their suited and booted front man. The Ben Folds likeness will stick with them unless they explore a bit more. The new single suffer for two is good, but I went home and listened to Whatever and Ever Amen.
