Cast

Cast are back with a new album Troubled Times out 5th March and to get ready for it they played an intimate gig courtesy of Absolute Radio & the Hard Rock Cafe.
9pm Cast came to stage and kick things off with new single See that girl, undoubtedly a Cast song; catchy and melodic. Next up, Fine time and Sandstorm- two absolute classic tracks which really got the crowd going, singing along to every word.
The band were in great shape, the rhythm was tight and powerful and they really seemed to be enjoying themselves. A couple more songs from the new album received a good response and Time Bomb in particular will no doubt be sung along by fans on the forthcoming tours. Walk away and Alright closed the evening to rapturous applause from the small but vocal audience who were treated to a very special one hour set from the fine Liverpudlian band.
Their desire to play was there for all to see, full of energy and charisma, and they will hopefully attract a new generation of fans who may not have been around back in the bands heyday of the mid 90’s. Cast certainly have the hits to soundtrack any persons day and I would struggle to think of a better live band to play this years festivals.
