Elisa Muscat a 7 year old singer along with her teacher Priscilla Psaila known as KAYA on the 8th October participated in the KATUSHA International Contest 2014 held in Moscow.
Elisa was taking part in the category of 7 to 9 year old singers. In this category there were 18 participants from different countries including Russia, Croatia, Italy, Belarus, Bulgaria, Moldavia, Armenia, Romania and Malta.
This contest was spread over three evenings.
The first contest held on Thursday 9 October, where Elisa sang "Il Caffe della peppina" During this evening 6 participants had to be eliminated. Elisa managed to make it for the second night.
The successive evening held on the 10th October, Elisa interpreted the song "La Danza di ROSINKA ", During this evening six finalists made it to the final night. The Maltese singer once again managed to make it with the last six finalists.
In the final night held Saturday 11th October, the Maltese singer gave a superb interpretation of the song were she obtained the first place.
For Elisa this was her second experience abroad after last June Elisa represented Malta in Italy in 2014 Eurokids International Contest held at Maior where she also classified in the first place.
Elisa wants to thank her teacher Kaya (Singer Stage Academy) and her family for their entire support.
