Axl Rose spent hours sleeping on a tour bus outside a hotel because his crew didn’t want to disturb him.
The rocker and his band were staying at the Mondrian in South Beach, Miami, on Saturday. However, Axl was in a slumber when they arrived at the hotel, so he continued to rest while everyone else checked in.
As the group arrived at their destination, traffic was held up and a path was cleared for the rocker to make him way to his room.
However, as fans began to gather there was no sign of Axl.
“One after another, each crew member got off the bus, with no sign of Axl Rose. As the crowd built up, one guest asked security, ‘Where’s Axl?’ - to which a guard replied, ‘Still sleeping on the tour bus. Nobody disturbs a sleeping Axl,’” reports New York Post.
Some hours later, Axl finally woke from his deep sleep.
The former Guns N’ Roses frontman was spotted looking “bleary-eyed but well-rested” as he emerged from the tour bus and walked into the hotel.
