Beyoncé Knowles thinks Kelly Rowland will make a “fantastic mother”.
Beyoncé is pregnant with her first child with husband Jay-Z. Her longtime friend and former Destiny’s Child bandmate is currently lending a lot of support to the star.
Beyoncé thinks Kelly will make an excellent parent herself.
“You know Kelly loves kids, and she will 100 per cent be a mom in the future. She is a busy girl at the moment, but when she feels the time is right and she’s done what she wants, then she is going to make a fantastic mom,” she told British magazine New!.
Kelly is currently starring as a judge on hit UK talent show The X Factor. Beyoncé is proud of her venture into TV.
“I think she is doing great, but I knew she would. My girl is one of the hardest-working women in the industry, and she has a real determination,” she said.
“Trust me, she is going to want to win this show. She is such a loving person and, not only do the contestants have a mentor who knows everything there is to know about the industry, they also have a mentor who will care about them as people.”
Beyoncé is grateful for Kelly’s support. The 30-year-old beauty says both her and Kelly rely on each other a lot.
“We speak and text all the time. With me being pregnant, she is always checking up on me to see how I am doing. We have known each other for so long, we are like sisters. She isn’t just somebody I was in a group with, this girl is my family,” she said.
“You know we both call each other for advice. We were 16 when we started out in this industry together and know all there is to know about each other. It’s not just about work, we advise each other about everything.”
Beyoncé is excited to start a family with her husband Jay-Z. The stunning star feels hugely grateful for the way her life has turned out.
“I am not nervous because I know it’s happening at the right time. I felt I got married at the right time for me, and now we are having the baby at the right time. I feel like we didn’t rush anything, and now we are being blessed with everything naturally,” she gushed.
“[Jay-Z] is my best friend, and I am so blessed to have him as my husband. We have been together since I was 20, and he is my rock during everything.”
