Beyoncé Knowles has reportedly banned Jay Z from going to nightclubs during their tour.
The pair are gearing up for their On the Run series of shows, which kick off in Miami later this month. The tour has been marred in controversy though, after Beyoncé's sister Solange was caught on camera violently attacking Jay in an elevator following a Met Gala after-party in May.
While the family played down the footage and insisted everything is now back to normal, rumours about Beyoncé and Jay's marriage have come to light. A club hostess has already dismissed gossip she had a fling with him, with Beyoncé apparently now taking steps to ensure the speculation comes to an end.
"They won't be apart for even one night [on the tour] and Jay's banned from going clubbing. Bey doesn't want to create the chance for more gossip," a source told British magazine Heat. "He has to check in with her all the time and has turned his phones over to her. And he's forbidden from talking to any single women."
Although there is no proof that anything untoward has happened, Beyoncé is apparently upset that the rumours are receiving any coverage. Previously she and Jay were viewed as having one of the most successful marriages in showbiz, something she wants to get back to.
"Jay is majorly in the doghouse. Beyoncé is furious that their marriage is in this position," the source said. "Jay was planning to come back to New York early for business but when all this [about the hostess] came out, Bey said he had to cancel everything and stay an extra three days with her and [daughter Blue Ivy]."
