Justin Bieber's team are reportedly planning to stage an intervention.

The 19-year-old star has seemingly gone off the rails recently, with altercations with his neighbours and brushes with the law becoming commonplace. He is rumoured to have hooked up with Brazilian model Tati Nevas while in the country, with Tati then praising his bedroom skills. He was also charged with criminal damage while in Brazil and threw a raucous party upon his arrival back in Los Angeles which saw cops called three times.

"After all of the embarrassing stuff that's happening recently, Justin's team are organising an intervention with his mom, Pattie, to try to get through to him that if he continues down this path he will destroy his career," an insider told British magazine Heat.

Pattie is said to be happy to be involved with the plan, although she has a different way of looking at the issues to the rest of Justin's team.

"She doesn't care about his career. She worries that he's surrounded by people who are enabling him or just plain afraid to tell him when he is acting like a jerk," the source said.

"Pattie is trying to make Justin understand that as long as he continues to make money for people they will let him do whatever he wants, but once he stops making other people rich they'll abandon him."

Justin is already known to have cut some pals out of his life. He was close to Lil Twist and Lil Za, but stopped hanging out with them after their antics - such as driving too fast and throwing parties - drew criticism.

There have been fears for his mental wellbeing following his split from Selena Gomez, with the couple initially breaking up when he was accused of flirting with Victoria's Secret models at last year's fashion show. They reunited but things are definitely over, with Justin lashing out at paparazzi and admitting to smoking marijuana in the wake of the breakup.
