Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band are hitting the road earlier than expected, playing a string of dates in the U.S. before starting their European Tour.
The newly announced dates start on March 18 in Atlanta, Georgia, just three days after the Boss serves as a keynote speaker at the SXSW Conference in Austin. The U.S. portion runs through May 2 in Newark, NJ before moving to Europe for May, June and July. It is expected that the tour will continue in late summer with additional North American dates.
Most notable about the press release for the tour is the exclusion of a replacement for saxophone player Clarence Clemons who passed away last year. The lineup for the E-Street Band:
