Cee Lo Green says being friends with a woman makes a man “honest”.
The silky-voiced singer is well known for his power over women and his third studio album was even entitled, The Lady Killer.
Cee Lo offered his advice to men who find themselves in the “friend zone” with women.
“The friend zone. I’ve been there before, man. Well, being friends with a woman is as honest as you’ll ever be,” he said in an interview with Q.
The Crazy singer informed men that being friends with a woman is a great way to find out more about her.
He insisted that it is never too late to turn a friendship into romance.
“You can take advantage of that opportunity and get her to express herself about what her interests are, her dos and don’ts and whether she’s involved with anyone else – that ought to really put things into perspective,” he explained. “You can be completely candid as a friend so there are benefits to the friend zone and it’s not too late at all.”
