Chris Brown could be getting a reality TV show.
The singer's turbulent life has made headlines ever since his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
Since then he's had several run-ins with the law and earlier this year he spent 108 days in jail.
Now TMZ claims American channel BET is keen to launch a reality show all about the star's antics. The website even writes that focus groups have been held to see if viewers would be interested in the prospect.
"BET has made it clear to several production companies... the network would absolutely air a Chris Brown reality series, chronicling his life after jail," sources told the outlet.
Apparently BET aren't the only ones interested and several production companies are keen to sign the 25-year-old.
Similarly to Lindsay Lohan's show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network, the programme would apparently follow Chris' efforts to get his life on track.
The focus group, consisting solely of African American females, is thought to have been divided in opinion, but most said they would be interested to see if Chris could keep it up.
The singer currently stands accused of hitting a fan after he tried to get in a photograph the singer was taking with two women. At the time, Chris was on probation for his attack on Rihanna.
Chris recently rejected a plea deal which would have seen him reaching an agreement that would have kept him out of jail. But his defence team could not reach a pact with prosecutors on what Chris would agree happened in October last year. He denies the charges.
