Its movie theme week on the X Factor so its time to dust off those tuxedos and sparkly dresses and enjoy some red carpet performances.

Before doing this review, I rang and asked the editor if I'm up for any awards but there must have been a problem with his line as it went dead...

Anyway, will it be Hollywood or home for the remaining acts.

Last week, Kitty Brucknell left the competition after a fantastic sing off against Misha B. I have not been Kitty's biggest fan but there is no doubting the girl can sing. I am sure we will be seeing more of Ms Brucknell.

After the now, very much anticipated opening dance performance by twinkle toes, Dermot O'Leary, Craig Colton kicked us off.

I like Craig and although I think his voice would be better suited in the West End, he is always consistent on the show, in a good way. I do however, agree with Tulisa and Louis. His performance tonight was boring and predictable. He might be in trouble.

Midas Act, Janet Devlin bounced back with a perfect song choice and great performance. She looked happy and confident and it shone through as the judges, (even Gary) gave her good feedback. Well done Janet and good luck for the results.

Amelia Lily, the shows very own Rocky, was up next after her 'knockout' performance last week.

It was a travesty that Amelia was kicked off so early and although it was another great vocal, it was weaker than last week, but I think she has more to give and has built up the fan base very quickly.

We keep being told how phenomenal Misha B is but last week, for the second time, she found herself in the bottom two. It's not a good sign if you want her to sell albums. In this industry it's not all about the talent. There are thousands of fantastic singers, a few we have seen on past X Factors, but they have not won over the people that matter, the public, so have vanished again back into obscurity. Massive shame.

Anyway, it was another good performance from Misha, she does have the strongest quality vocal in the competition. She started a bit it shaky, but as the confidence levels hit back, she soon improved to her usual high standard.

Remember these two words 'Little Mix' because by this time next year, these girls will have had a number one single.

A girl band where they are all individually strong singers is very rare, and this group has four. Perfect harmonies, with a strong performance attitude, this week we were treated again to a quality performance. The girls are fast becoming the ones to beat.

Then Gary Barlow told us that Marcus Collins was up next singing a track from Ghostbusters. So quicker than you could say, "who yer gonna call? I went to put on my proton backpack to get into spirit of things!

But alas, it wasn't the famous Ghostbusters movie theme. Boo hiss.

In fact, Marcus gave us a faultless version of 'Higher and Higher'. His energy and positive energy oozes from the screen. I think Marcus is a certain for the Final in December.

So thats movie week in the can...now where are my Jimmy Choos??
