Gwen Stefani would reportedly love to have a little girl.
It is rumoured singer-turned-fashion designer Gwen, 43, and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting their third child together.
The couple are already parents to sons Kingston, seven, and Zuma, five, and supposedly Gwen really wants to give birth to a daughter.
“Gwen’s on pins and needles waiting to learn the sex of the baby,” a source told America’s Star magazine.
“[She’s a] girly girl and wants to have a little princess to spoil. Since she loves fashion, she’s dying to play dress up with her own little girl.”
Gavin is father to British model Daisy Lowe, 24, from a previous relationship.
It is claimed that the whole family is eager for Gwen to have a girl too, but they will be overjoyed with the new arrival no matter what.
“Kingston and Zuma would love a little sister,” the insider said.
“Gavin would be thrilled to have another daughter, and Gwen just feels blessed to be pregnant again.”
Last year, Gwen discussed the impact motherhood had on her and admitted she is often critical of her parenting style.
“The only thing I really worry about is, again – like, I keep bringing it up because it’s my biggest stress – how do I do this and that?” she told the UK edition of Elle. “When you first have a baby your life doesn’t change. I mean, you have a little less sleep and you drag these cuddly things around and it’s just amazing. But you still get to be you. Once they get to, like, five, six and school, it starts to get, like, ‘Wow, they’ve got real problems. They’re my responsibility…’ Oh my god. That is overwhelming.”
