Kanye West has apparently called a "truce" with Kris Jenner.

The rapper and his girlfriend Kim Kardashian's mom are known for having opposing ideas about publicity and exposure.

Now a father to baby North West, Kanye has apparently drawn a line in the sand and put a stop to his feuding with Kris.

"Kanye has said he wouldn't tolerate Kris trying to control his family," a source told British magazine Heat.

"But he also said that he'd be more understanding of her being in charge of Kim's career. Kris knows Kim loves Kanye and she needs to step back."

In what many saw as a big U-turn, Kanye decided to show the world the first pictures of baby Nori on Kris Jenner's chat show.

He had previously made it obvious he wanted nothing to do with the reality circus that surrounds the Kardashians.

"Kim's place in Kanye's life has changed. She's the mother of his child and he knew doing this would make her happy," the source continued.

Kanye reportedly moved out of the family house after a series of arguments and voiced his concern about Kim and North appearing on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

"Family is everything to Kanye and he doesn't want to jeopardise that," the insider added.

The 36-year-old rapper apparently harbours plans to move the family to his apartment in Paris for a few months, and now thinks meeting Kim halfway when it comes to her family will help him achieve that.
