Kim Kardashian reportedly had “stern words” with Kanye West after he stopped paying attention to her at a party over the weekend.
The pair are currently in London, where Kim has been promoting her new fragrance and Kanye is performing his Watch The Throne tour with Jay-Z.
On Saturday night they attended a star-studded party in the city, attended by Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, Rihanna, Rita Ora and Stella McCartney.
Jay-Z held the bash to celebrate long-time friend Tyran ‘Ty Ty’ Smith’s 40th birthday and pulled out all the stops to ensure it was a lavish affair. Champagne was flowing all evening and while Kim and Kanye spent the early part of the night together, the rapper soon began mingling with other guests. The reality star reportedly became frustrated and asked Kanye to return to her side.
“Kanye was loving it on the dancefloor with Jay-Z and spoke at length to Stella about fashion. Kim was all over Kanye at the start, but when he started to mix with other people she had a stern word and took him away from the party,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “He followed her orders with minimum fuss. He knows the deal.”
It was recently claimed that Kim has also banned Kanye from having women backstage at his shows.
Earlier on Saturday evening, Gwyneth, Chris and Stella had watched Jay-Z and Kanye perform at the O2 Arena.
Rita has been the support act for the pair, and was accompanied to the glitzy party by her boyfriend Rob Kardashian – Kim’s brother.
Rihanna had such a good time at the bash she missed her flight to Los Angeles on Sunday, so she decided to join Jay-Z and Kanye on stage last night.
