Fans of Lou Reed will gather to remember the legendary singer songwriter in New York this Thursday.

A public memorial for Lou will be held at New York’s The Lincoln Center.

According to a post on Reed’s Facebook, the memorial will be from 1 to 4 PM at the Paul Milstein Pool and Terrace at Lincoln Center. Unlike other artist memorial services, there will have “no speeches. no live performances, just Lou’s voice, guitar music & songs – playing the recordings selected by his family and friends.”

Reed died on October 27 at the age of 71. The singer received a new liver earlier in the year but the new organ failed.
