Miley Cyrus has always talked to her mother about sex – even when she didn’t want to hear.
The actress-and-singer is close to her mom Tish and has previously revealed that her mother helped her through her first big heartbreak.
Their relationship is strong because they are open and honest with each other.
“A lot of parents don't know what their kids are up to or the kids find it embarrassing to talk with their parents about sex. I have always told my mom everything, sometimes even more than she wanted to know,” she laughed. “But she gave me some good advice in terms of contraception, which helped me a lot.”
The 19-year-old star got engaged to hunky actor Liam Hemsworth earlier this year and couldn’t be happier.
She is thrilled with the success her fiancé has achieved for playing Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games, explaining it has boosted their romance.
“I am very happy that he is so successful with The Hunger Games. I think, it is good for him if he is not only seen as 'the boyfriend of Miley Cyrus' all the time. It can only be beneficial for our relationship as we are on the same level now,” she told the German edition of InStyle.
