Miley Cyrus' behaviour is apparently upsetting Liam Hemsworth's parents.
The We Can't Stop singer has demonstrated controversial behaviour recently, including her raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV VMAs.
In addition to reportedly startling her fiancé with her bold moves, Miley is said to have disappointed her future parents-in-law.
Liam's mother Leonie and father Craig are from a small town in Australia and are not used to seeing such crude moves as her 'twerking'.
"[Liam's parents have] never been huge fans of Miley and were shocked by their future daughter-in-law's antics," a source told Heat magazine.
Although he is angry, Liam is apparently worried for his girlfriend's health. He allegedly fears she is heading for a breakdown similar to the one popstar Britney Spears suffered six years ago.
The Toxic hitmaker shocked fans when she shaved her blonde locks off in 2007 during her struggle with drug addiction and checked into numerous rehabilitation centres.
"Miley's been going off the rails for some time, and Liam finally snapped after she refused to apologise or listen to his feelings. He told her she needed to 'grow up' before she heads to a Britney-style breakdown," the insider revealed.
Liam, 23, is apparently so "mortified" by Miley's recent actions that he is even contemplating calling off their wedding after spending time in London with his brother Chris.
Miley and the actor met on the set of their 2009 film The Last Song and announced their engagement in 2012.
"He told Miley he wanted a break and has enjoyed the space, telling pals he isn't sure he can go through with the wedding when she seems to be acting like a 'deranged teenager'," the source added.
