One Direction's Louis Tomlinson wants to splash his cash on a chimpanzee like his idol Michael Jackson.
The boyband - comprising of Louis, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne – recently made music history by becoming the first British group to top the US charts with their debut album, Up All Night.
Louis is embracing the band's newfound success in America and has revealed how he plans to spend his hard-earned money.
“I’d like to adopt a chimpanzee and build an eternal friendship. That would be amazing," he told British newspaper The Sun.
“I am a big Michael Jackson fan. He was a real inspiration and had so many great songs.”
Liam also revealed his plans for when the group get some time off from their busy touring schedule.
“I would like to go into space in a big rocket," he revealed.
Meanwhile, it's been reported that 18-year-old band member Harry has been romancing Wishlist singer Lily Halpern, 19.
Sources have told the New York Post that the pair have been seeing each other for a few months and their relationship is "getting quite serious".
Lily was spotted leaving a hotel where One Direction were staying in New York last month.
However, a representative for the group denied a romance between the stars.
“Never heard of her before; Harry is single," the spokesperson revealed.
