Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris is reportedly actively engaging in a novel relationship with her birth mother.

Paris, 15, and her older brother Prince, 16, are the children of the King of Pop and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe.

After three years of marriage Michael and Debbie divorced in 1999.

In the divorce Debbie gave sole custody of the children to the late pop icon.

She since devoted her time to cultivating a horse ranch in Palmdale, California.

The town is located in the high desert an hour outside of Los Angeles.

After years of estrangement, Paris and her mother are now getting to know each other at the teen’s request.

"Paris has been going through a lot of teenage angst and feels a little bit unloved," a source told People magazine. "So about three months ago Paris reached out to her mother and told her she wanted to establish a relationship with her. Debbie was open to it, and Katherine Jackson is supportive of the developing relationship.

"She's enjoyed telling friends in L.A. how she's helping take care of a pregnant mare on the ranch, and even how she was recently chased by a chicken.

"Right now Paris is happy with the situation as it is. It's even looking like at some point Paris will want to move in with Debbie."

Apparently Paris’ brother Prince is less keen to get in contact with his mother.

It appears he harbours much resentment against Debbie.

"He has anger issues with her," the insider said. "He feels like she abandoned him years ago."
