Rihanna has unveiled a geisha guise ahead of filming her new music promo.
The songstress took to her Twitter page to post pictures of herself sporting a cultured new look while relaxing in her dressing room.
Rihanna’s eastern-inspired style is for her collaboration with British band Coldplay. The musicians are filming the accompanying video for their duet, Princess of China.
The Bajan beauty proudly showed off her new style in the series of photos and added the caption: “Gangsta goth geisha #thuglife #princessofchina (sic).”
Rihanna’s hair is styled with dramatic extensions and features some chopsticks. Despite her new look, Rihanna hasn’t lost her attitude. In one picture, the 24-year-old is seen showing off her extra long metallic nails by sticking her middle finger up at the camera.
Rihanna has been busy with her music and film career of late.
The beauty is starring in Battleship alongside Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch. Filmmaker Peter Berg recently revealed Rihanna was a joy to work alongside because of her hardworking nature.
“Rihanna is an artist and she works her ass off. I put her through [the ringer]. She came in for her first meeting and I told her to just come in and be herself with no glam. She was in a pair of jeans, a T-shirt, no make-up and a pair of flip-flops, and for two hours, we just played. She improvised,” he told Collider.com.
