The new service, hosted on http://www.sainsburysentertainment.co.uk, provides customers with access to over 2.3 million downloads – including tracks and albums.
The vast catalogue of music provides customers with great value tracks starting at 89p, chart albums from £6.99 and ‘Deal of the Week’ albums for £4.99 – with the customers’ first download absolutely free*. These downloads will also gain Nectar points, meaning customers can listen to their favourite music tracks whilst earning Nectar points.
On top of these competitive prices, Sainsbury’s is also guaranteeing lowest prices its on pre-order items. Therefore, when an MP3 is purchased and the price drops ahead of or on the release date, Sainsbury’s will refund the difference, so customers can be safe in the knowledge they are getting the best deal when purchasing any music.
The simple and easy-to-use website has been launched to help customers get what they need quickly, with clear instructions from how to download and build a playlist to a unique preview function, which allows consumers to listen to music ahead of purchasing it.
