Selena Gomez would apparently go back to Justin Bieber if he stays "sweet".
The Spring Breakers star, 21, has dated the singer on and off since 2010, but they are currently apart.
Justin took to Instagram earlier this week to post a picture of his ex-girlfriend at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, which she attended on Sunday.
He captioned the image "Most elegant princess in the world. (sic)" and apparently the gesture has struck a chord with Selena.
“Selena has seen what Justin tweeted about her and thought it was really sweet. This is the Justin she would go back to, but she knows too well that it’s not realistic. He says he’s going to do this and that and begs for her to come back, but then his actions end up not matching his words,” a source explained to HollywoodLife.
Recently it was revealed that Selena had spent two weeks in rehab in January to deal with personal issues, and her rep confirmed it was not substance related.
Justin, who turned 20 on March 1, is known for his wild child ways and has been linked to drugs as well as being arrested for DUI earlier this year.
With her emotional being to think of, Selena is apparently worried a reunion with the Baby singer would set her back.
“Selena would go back with Justin, but it would take a lot of convincing. So far, she isn’t sold and she doesn’t want the emotional roller coaster stress and drama, and heartache,” the insider continued.
