Shakira’s music video for ‘La La La (Brazil 2014)’ has achieved an incredible 36.6 million video views across Vevo in just five days, making ‘La La La (Brazil 2014)’ the second most viewed video on the platform this year in the same time period.
Shakira also holds the Vevo record for the most viewed video (over five days) this year, with her hugely popular video for ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ ft. Rihanna. In addition to 36.6 million views, the video has also received 268,000 Likes, 179,000 Shares and 58,000 Comments throughout its first five days, all well above average.
Around the launch of the video, Shakira joined forces with Activia to support the World Food Programme (WFP) in its goal to build a world with zero hunger. Shakira and Activia will be donating funds to support the WFP’s School Meals Programme, helping deliver 3,000,000 additional school meals to support good nutrition and education for children in developing countries.
