Jessica Simpson enjoyed a country-themed baby shower on Sunday.
The 32-year-old singer is expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson.
According to People magazine, friends and family gathered to celebrate the impending birth with a bash at a Los Angeles hotel on Sunday afternoon.
It was reportedly a “Tom Sawyer-themed affair”, complete with vintage décor, tin pitchers and flowers all around.
Jessica was seen making her way to the celebration in a blue dress by Diane von Furstenberg and towering nude heels.
Jessica’s sister Ashlee Simpson and close friend Jessica Alba were reportedly among those present, as was her 11-month-old daughter, Maxwell.
Guests dined on comfort foods including grilled cheese and pigs in a blanket.
Party planner Mindy Weiss told the outlet she orchestrated the affair with help from the singer’s mother, Tina.
"They're best friends. Jessica trusted her mum to make the decisions!” Mindy gushed.
Jessica’s mother and her father, Joe, separated after 34 years of marriage in 2012.
The celebration follows reports the two had refused to be in the same room for their daughter's happy occasion.
The pair are said to be at war with each other ever since Tina filed the divorce papers in September.
Apparently they have agreed to shelve their venom towards one another to be there for their daughter.
Radar Online earlier reported Jessica’s parents eventually agreed to “tag team” the baby shower.
“Joe has agreed to come a little later so Tina can slip out before he gets there to avoid any drama on Jessica’s big day,” an insider said.
The singer is expected to give birth this summer.
