Metal maniacs Slipknot filmed their entire Download Fest performance for release on DVD.

In June 2009 the band played to 80,000 screaming fans at the UK’s Download Festival.

It was a hugely significant show for the band.

It closely followed the release of their first US number one album All Hope Is Gone and was one of the final major performances from bassist Paul Gray, who passed away in May 2010.

The DVD will be called (sic)nesses. It was shot with 30 cameras, covering both the band and their die-hard fans over 18 songs.

They’ll also include a 45-minute documentary by band percussionist Clown and all four videos from the All Hope Is Gone album as well as a ‘Making Of’ for the ‘Snuff’ video.

(sic)nesses will be released on September 28 via Roadrunner.
