Britney Spears puts a lot of “mommy” into her music.
The singer is currently promoting her latest album Britney Jean and is gearing up for her Las Vegas residency. Britney has two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline and says motherhood often overlaps into her career.
“Yes, there are aspects of me in my work,” she said in an interview with UK TV show Lorraine. “There is a lot of mommy in my work and a lot of work in my mommy mode.”
Britney once again expressed her desire to expand her family. She recently revealed she is in love with her current boyfriend David Lucado and it seems she is thinking about settling down.
“I definitely want more kids, yeah,” she smiled. “We have three children in our family so I always thought I would have three or four since I was a little kid.”
Britney has previously suffered some struggles in her private life, and her father is still in charge of her professional and personal affairs. The 32-year-old star says she is feeling stronger and happier than ever.
“I would probably say yes this is one of the best times of my life,” she beamed.
Britney went on to discuss her plans for Christmas. The blonde star is looking forward to celebrating the holidays with her family, but accepts she won’t be able to indulge in the usual festive feast because her residency kicks off on December 27.
“Yes I will spend Christmas with my kids,” she said. “It’s going to be really hard [to resist] because I love food!”
