Father and daughter, Janvil and Jade Marie Vella are among the special guests of this week's Summer Hit show.
The Summer Hit Song Contest 2014 is set to return this Monday 28th July at 08:30pm on f living channel. The third show from the popular series is yet another celebrity-packed one hosting more leading singers from the local entertainment scene.
Jade Marie Vella, fresh from her success in the Romanian 'Ti Amo' Festival will perform her winning entry 'Unica' (S.Galea/J.J.Farrugia). Jade's father will be the next celebrity to take the show's hot seat. Leading singer and tv personality Janvil will also perform his rumba-version of the New Cuorey's classic 'Għajnejn Sbieħ' a track taken from his cd 'Maltese Gem'.
The final six Summer Hit Song Contest 2014 entries premiered on the show will be: Domenique's 'Back To' (Mark Scicluna/Emil Calleja Bayliss); Christian's 'Another Night In Heaven' (Philip Vella/Rita Pace); Roberta Briffa's 'If I Was Her' (Renato Briffa/Rita Pace); Anna Azzopardi's 'My Hero' (Renato Briffa/Keith Zammit); Kelly Cassar's 'One Precious Mile' (Philip Vella/Gerard J. Borg); and Dayle Camilleri's 'You' (Minik/Alison Ellul).
The competition aims to promote the local music artists in search of a true hit song. The show is produced and hosted by Deo Grech and Ignatius Farrugia.
