Kiwi funk dub sensation The Black Seeds give away an eight-track downloadable EP for Christmas.

The nine-piece (which, at one point, included Bret McKenzie of comedy duo Flight Of The Conchords) have build a formidable live reputation for years, on the back of seven albums and most recently, their Splendour In The Grass set.

Before the release their eighth album next year, the reggae-roots-dub-funk collective are offering a free download of eight of their biggest tracks as a Christmas present and an introduction to those who haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet.

It features singles from their On The Sun, Into The Dojo and Solid Ground albums, as well as a remix and a live song.

The EP is available from The Black Seeds website http://theblackseeds.com/freedownload/ until the end of the year.
