TUPAC Shakur made a dramatic return to the stage on the closing night of the Coachella festival 16 years after his tragic death.

The gathered masses at the Californian festival stood in awe as the rapper appeared from the dead to collaborate with Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre.

He took the ghostly form of a hologram just after a tribute of his classic ‘California Love’ tune.

Tupac sang Hail Mary before duetting with Snoop on ‘Ain't Nothin' Like A Gangsta Party’.

Snoop and Dr Dre were the Sunday night climax of the Coachella weekend with Eminem, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Kendrick Lamar also joining the pair in stage.

The headliners celebrated their 20-year partnership with a 60-minute set that included ‘Drop it Like It's Hot’, ‘Next Episode’ and ‘Gin & Juice’.

Bare-chested and wearing a pair of jeans with the famous 'Thug Life' tattoo clearly visable, Tupac, who was shot dead in Las Vegas in 1996, was almost his old self.

There has been persistent rumours that Tupac is still alive, this will only make those voices louder.
