Tom Waits releases ‘Back In The Crowd’ from new album

Ramshackle bluesman Tom Waits delivers the second single from his forthcoming album Bad As Me.

Bad As Me is the first album of all-new material in seven years, and he has already released the title track, which is a jerky Southern blues nightmare with Waits’ trademark psychotic yelp.

Business as usual, then.

He put together the 13 tracks with his longtime co-writer and producer Kathleen Brennan, spanning his skills from smoky balladeer to junkyard maniac.

‘Back In The Crowd’ hits radio today and Bad As Me will be released on October 24 in regular and deluxe edition CD and LP through ANTI-.
