Ed Sheeran vows he doesn’t have a marriage pact with Taylor Swift.

The British singer claims he doesn’t have plans to wed the American country crooner if he doesn’t find an alternative love for life.

The star believes the buzz about his alleged nuptials is typical since the pair began collaborating musically.

"There's lots of stuff in the press and some of it's very unbelievable and some of it isn't," he told MTV News. "Some of it's true and some of it isn't."

Rumours swirled Ed, 22, would tie the knot with Taylor, 23, if they were both single by the age of 30.

The duo spends lots of time together since teaming up for her Red Tour.

"I don't know where that comes from, it's usually from a source and it's usually from someone who doesn't know the person," Ed explained about chatter of a budding relationship.

While the crooner isn’t getting hitched to Taylor as a last resort, he confessed to making a similar deal with someone else.

"That story isn't true. I do have one of those pacts with a friend actually — my next door neighbor – but it's [for when we're] 40," he revealed.

"We got the pact from Friends. We watched Friends and we were like 'oh that sounds like a good idea' but I don't really want to reproduce with you right now,” he mused.
