Coldplay have shared their euphoric new song, ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’, from their upcoming LP 'Moon Music'.
Chris Martin and co recently unveiled their long-awaited follow-up to 2021's 'Music of the Spheres', and after debuting the lead single live in Hungary, they've shared the first offering from the record.
The sweet track sees Chris - whose partner is 34-year-old 'Fifty Shades' actress Dakota Johnson - sing about his lover: "Oh, it feels like
"I'm fallin' in love/Maybe for the first time/ Baby, it's my mind you blow..."
The huge tune is produced by Swedish studio wizard Max Martin - who is best known for his work with the likes of Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd and produced their last album.
'Moon Music' is due for release on October 4, 2024.
The eco-conscious rock band are releasing the record on vinyl made from recycled plastic bottles.
A special copy boasts 70 per cent river plastic, taken from the Rio Las Vacas in Guatemala, with the 'Yellow' hitmakers claiming that will reduce the record's carbon footprint by 85 per cent.
It comes after Coldplay recently thanked fans after they were able to cut their tour emissions by 47 per cent so far amid their 'Music of the Spheres World Tour', compared to their 2016 and 2017 jaunt.
The group had previously vowed not to tour again until they could reduce their footprint.
Coldplay said: “This is a good start – and something that our incredible crew should be very proud of – but clearly there’s still room for improvement.
“The emissions data from the first 12 months of the tour has now been collated, assessed and independently validated by Prof. John E. Fernandez of the MIT Environmental Solutions Initiative. On a show-by-show comparison, the Music Of The Spheres Tour has so far produced 47% less CO2e emissions than our last stadium tour (2016-17).”
Next weekend (29.06.24), Coldplay will headline Glastonbury again.
