Snoop Dogg has reacted to "all the hate" he's received from fans who criticised him for performing at a party held to celebrate U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration.
Alongside the likes of Rick Ross and Soulja Boy, the Drop It Like It's Hot rapper was one of the names to take to the stage at the Crypto Ball in Washington, D.C. on 17 January.
Taking to Instagram Live on Sunday, Snoop addressed his critics while smoking and listening to gospel music in his car.
"It's Sunday I got gospel in my heart," he began. "For all the hate I'm going to answer with love, I love too much. Get your life right, stop worrying about mine. I'm cool. I'm together. Still a Black man. Still 100 per cent Black. All out 'til you ball out or 'til you fall out."
Snoop, who didn't mention Trump in the footage, posted the full clip to his main Instagram account on Monday.
He also urged his 88 million followers to support each other.
"We gotta learn to pick each other up instead of pulling each other down. That's what we great at as Black people. We great at tearing each other down," the 53-year-old continued. "You can be up one minute and they'll try to pull you down the next. But I'm a strong Black man. I'm cut from a different cloth. You can't tear me down. I'm one of God's child (sic). One of his children."
To conclude, Snoop encouraged his fans to "stay strong".
"The only way to beat hate is with love. Learn from the Dogg. Teach you something every day," he added.
While Snoop has spoken out against Trump in the past, during an interview for The Sunday Times in early 2024, he insisted the politician had only done "great things for me".
"So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump," the hip-hop icon exclaimed.
