Roskilde Festival takes place from Saturday 28 June to Saturday 5 July 2025. A full festival ticket costs DDKK 2,520 (approx. £280) plus booking fee at roskilde-festival.dk.
Roskilde Festival is 100 % non-profit. All profit from the festival is donated to humanitarian and cultural work.? Since 1972, Roskilde Festival has generated 443 million DKK (over £49 million) for distribution.

Roskilde Festival has unveiled 27 new artists for this year’s lineup, featuring groundbreaking acts such as British producer and singer FKA Twigs, British-American art-pop ensemble Anohni and the Johnsons, rapper Tierra Whack, indie rock legends Bright Eyes, and Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze.

For over 50 years, Denmark’s Roskilde Festival has been more than just a music event—it is Northern Europe’s largest and most influential non-profit festival, bringing together global music, activism, and art.
This year, festival participants can experience the pulsating sound of FKA Twigs’ futuristic masterpiece Eusexua live on stage, as the British producer, singer and dancer is among 27 new acts that the Danish mastodont adds to its line-up today.

With Eusexua, her third studio album released in January, FKA Twigs cements her reputation as one of today’s most visionary artists. The album has garnered widespread critical acclaim, including a Best New Music stamp in Pitchfork and a five-star review in NME.

Also joining the bill is Anohni and the Johnsons, fronted by the singularly expressive singer-songwriter Anohni Hegarty. Formerly known as Antony and the Johnsons, the ensemble is celebrated for its deeply emotive performances and Anohni’s unmistakable voice. Through her music, she highlights urgent themes such as queer identity, domestic violence, social inequality, war, and the climate crisis.

“FKA Twigs and Anohni and the Johnsons each possess an extraordinary ability to craft groundbreaking music that resonates with both devoted music fans and wider audiences. FKA Twigs is one of the most innovative artists today, and her performance is sure to be mesmerizing. Anohni and the Johnsons deliver intense, unforgettable live experiences while also highlighting important social issues—values we share”, says Roskilde Festival’s Head of Music, Thomas Sønderby Jepsen.

Pioneers and exclusive one-off performances
The lineup also welcomes American metalcore pioneers Knocked Loose, the magnetic indie-folk storytellers Bright Eyes, Detroit’s house wizard Omar S, and the ever-inventive rapper Tierra Whack, whose 2023 album World Wide Whack showcased her genre-bending brilliance.

Further global talent includes Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze, Malian band Al Bilali Soudan, known for their deep, ritualistic Tamasheq music, and Nigerian Afrobeat-singer Oxlade.

Among the 27 new names are also two exclusive collaborations, specially crafted for Roskilde Festival 2025.

Norwegian feminist black metal collective Witch Club Satan team up with Danish doom rave band John Cxnnor for a trance-inducing performance of ancient witch rituals and black metal fury, while the festival will host Big Fan’s first ever show. A duo consisting of the progressive Danish singer-songwriters Mija Milovic and Barbro, Big Fan will deliver a boundary-pushing post-rock experience, creating an original concert format through collaboration, community, and music’s transformative power.

Roskilde Festival 2025 runs from June 28 to July 5.

With today’s announcement, the festival has now revealed more than 100 acts for this summer’s lineup, which will ultimately feature approximately 200 music artists, along with a diverse program of art and activism. Previously announced artists set to play Roskilde Festival this summer include Olivia Rodrigo, Fontaines D.C., Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, Doechii, Beth Gibbons, and Arca.
